Dr. Harris is committed to helping farmers, land owners, and anyone who uses and loves the West Virginia outdoors.
Dr. Harris served with the US Army for more than two decades in environmental medicine, protecting people from environmental health hazards and protecting the environment from unconcerned people.
Dr. Harris handled a multitude of environmental issues - including soil, water, and air sampling, hazardous substance releases, disease outbreaks, radioactive objects, and nuclear waste.
Dr. Harris understands science, business, and finance, having led large organizations and holding advanced degrees in medicine, public health, and business.
Dr. Harris has worked extensively in volunteer conservation roles, including the Memphis Zoo.
Dr. Harris has decades of experience in adult education, bringing the excitement and satisfaction of learning to his students on a variety of topics.
Dr. Harris is committed to our community, serving at the Memorial Baptist church, the Tricity Town Band, the Country Roads Band, the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, and the WVSB Disaster Relief team.
